Security & control

Know what Appius can access
and what you approve.

Your investment Plan sets the boundaries for committee recommendations. Connection permissions determine the available account actions, and proposed trades wait for your approval.

Your investment Plan.

Committee recommendations use your approved objectives and restrictions. Applicable checks run again when an order is approved. Direct orders are a separate user-directed workflow.

Actions prepared by your CIO.

Inspect the proposed action and account on the approval screen. A request in chat, a research result, or opening a screen does not replace that approval.

Broker permissions.

Connected accounts have capability labels. A read-only connection supplies account context without enabling in-app orders through that connection. Review provider permissions before you connect.

Evidence and history.

Review the evidence and recorded desk findings attached to a recommendation. Pay attention to dates, unavailable information, and unresolved questions. AI-generated information can be incorrect.

Your account

Access deserves
attention, too.

Use a unique password, keep your recovery information current, and review your connected accounts. Authentication and device-lock options depend on the platform and release.

Important context

Controls have a scope.

Research and risk checks cannot eliminate investment loss, ensure data accuracy, or guarantee execution. Availability, permissions, market conditions, and your broker affect the actions you can take.
